The Grand Lodge of Utah collectively administers and leads the Blue Lodges of Freemasonry in Utah. The Blue Lodge is the starting point, and the core of all Masonic study and progress. All Masons must pass through the Blue Lodge, but not all Masons will choose to pursue further studies in Freemasonry.

For those Masons interested in advanced study of Masonry there are within Utah two recognized Rites of Freemasonry. The York Rite and the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite.
