Freemasonry: The Right Course for Life’s Journey

Warm Fraternal Greetings,

I don’t know where the summer has gone and I can hardy believe that it is almost the fall season.  I do know that many of  our Brethren and Lodges had a busy summer schedule and I commend all who participated in the many activities during  the break.

Grand Lodge Banner Preservation

Our original Grand Lodge Banner is in the process of being preserved and placed in a protective display case for all to  appreciate. The cost of this undertaking will be about $1,200 and the Grand Lodge is asking for a $40 donation from each  of our constituent Lodges to help cover the cost. I encourage our Lodges to participate in this request and help to preserve  a beautiful piece of Utah Masonic History.

Grand Lodge Holiday 3uts Fundraiser

This fundraiser is put on by our Grand Lodge ladies and is now in full swing.  Brochures and order forms should already  be in the hands of many in our Utah Masonic Family.  Additional order forms and catalogs can be downloaded from the  Grand Lodge website at www.utahgrandlodge.org.  Peruse the great offerings of nuts and candies this year from the  Mascot Pecan Co.  These items make excellent holiday gifts for family, friends, neighbors and business associates.  Or,  just order some for your own snacking enjoyment. The proceeds from the sales go toward the Make-A-Wish Foundation,  Scottish Rite Children’s Learning Centers and the El Kalah Temple Transportation Fund.  We’re striving to surpass all  previous sales records in order to give more than we ever have to these great charities.
